An artificial intelligent mind with capacity to simulate a human being, that can be downloaded to an artificial brain of a humanoid robot that looks real, or a quantum supercomputer capable of governing the world, an artificial intelligent beast. The totalitarian system of a machine that dominates and submits humanity and implants a chip 666 to it like the “mark of the beast”. No doubt many of these titles are already in the mind of great part of those who know the Biblical prophecies of the end times, or Biblical Eschatology. But is this the true interpretation? Are we heading to a robotized world, governed by a quantum supercomputer with artificial intelligence much more powerful than us, and that know our weaknesses because it is learning at great speed every day, as proposed by films like “Matrix”, “Subrogates”, or “I Robot”.

This could well be the plan of the deceiver, the old serpent called devil and Satan, that deceives the entire world, according to what the Lord Jesus – Yahshua, warns us, as well as the prophets, Revelation 12:9. A spiritual entity of world dominion as false prophet of a world religion and of an artificial society to which all must submit, or be excluded. A false and imitating diabolic trinity, that is composed by the dragon, the beast and the false prophet, Revelation 16:13. The man of sin, the antichrist of Daniel 9:27 and 2 Thessalonians 2. But, as well as when we entered the new world of Internet and many warned it would be the end of the world, being that even if this tool can be used for evil, the world of today can no longer live without it, and without the vast number of good things it provides. Artificial Intelligence also sows controversy between the great evil it can cause, but also the great amount of benefits it provides, and will provide to humanity. Let us enter this new world of technology and discover what Artificial Intelligence will provide, and if we will know how to dominate it before it dominates us.

TECHNOLOGY AT THE SERVICE OF MAN – WHERE WE COME FROM

If we look back in the history of communications and of computers, until Internet and until today, not long ago, only one century, is when the great changes have been experienced. Already the invention of telephone and telegraph, or the radio and then television changed the world. Industry and machines had been evolving to the point of revolutionizing transportation and medicine, from the automobile to X ray machines for diagnostics. But all this seams obsolete, even prehistoric in the new digital era. However, missions like those of NASA to the moon, or the International Space Station were created in the analogic era. The aerospace centre of Cape Canaveral, also known as Cape Kennedy, its command centre room for takeoff in the mission Apollo XI, that landed on the moon with Armstrong and Aldrin on June the 20^th 1969 seams today such an obsolete room that we cannot believe that they could accomplish that mission with that technology. But also the airplanes of the time, the cars, the factories, all was analogic, and it worked, and the world advanced until the era of programming, Cobol language and computers together with the digitalization and Internet.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, TO IMPROVE OUR LIVE OR TO DECEIVE AND DOMINATE THE WORLD? – WHERE ARE WE GOING? – END TIMES: 666

“…And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do… … ¹⁶ He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, ¹⁷ and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. ¹⁸ Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.” Revelation 13.

The scandal of the use of AI to make social influence through systems of advance computing, is that they were used to influence in political decisions when voting, in cases like Brexit, in the United Kingdom, or in the past general elections in the US, according to specialized press. This situation takes us to not trust information, but we also see how a great escalade of populism, whether from left or right, it has dominated countries generating great instability that over all affects democracies, because, in totalitarian regimes those in power are who use AI in their favour, and to debilitate their opponents, and other countries, to dominate, as much a possible their geopolitical position. If we realize, in the Text of Revelation 13, at the beginning of this section, the target is to deceive those inhabiting the earth with sighs and wonders.

This way we see how Artificial Intelligence has been used and is being used at a speed of hell to dominate the world. Conspiracy theorists that see in the 2030 Agenda a plan of world dominion, have in the Texts in Revelation a great support, and without a doubt we will see how the world and geopolitics change so fast that generates a sensation of global instability in all societies, and also, now being dates close to that agenda, almost all world population, despite the few resources of many, have access to information through internet. Let us look at some Bible Texts that talk about the known “mark of the beast” what many interpret as a chip to control the lives of people:

“And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. ² And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. ³ And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. ⁴ And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.” (Revelation 9:1-4).

This Text tells of how those that have the seal of God are set free at, or in, the tribulation that will come to the world.

“Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, ² That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. ³ Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; ⁴ Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.” (2 Thessalonians 2).

The warning of this Text is for us to not be deceived in the end times, but how is he going to sit in the Temple of God if there is no Temple now? This is the argument of those who expect and get ready for the construction of the third Jewish Temple in Jerusalem, which most probable location at today’s date, is the enclave of the Dome of the Rock on Temple Mount or Mosque’s Esplanade, as the place where the Temple of Herod was, though lately there are archaeologists that think of other locations in reference to the Temple of Solomon in king David’s old town area, near the Wailing Wall.

“And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. ³ And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. ⁴ Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.” (Revelation 15).

How many sing this song today, and how many of us will sing it in the great day of the coming of the Kingdom of God Almighty? For this is the song of worship that we have in our hearts those who have reached the victory over the beast, by the merits of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ – Yahshua.

But continuing with the hypothetical chip or 666 mark (Revelation 13:16-17) for the total domain of the live of humanity who opposes that world leader that will get to dominate the world, who will make all nations be against Jerusalem to destroy it, who will not let prosper those who don’t adore him, at this time we see that situation that the Jewish population are experiencing worldly, due to the action of the current government of Israel as reprisal against Gaza due to the terrible terrorist attack against the population of Israel, is already putting nations against it. We could really be in the anteroom of the fulfilment of the prophetic Text. And when Jerusalem is attacked by all nations in the battle of Armageddon (Revelation 16:16), and fear for their total annihilation, then they will surrender to the true Messiah: Jesus Christ – Yahshua, Who already came firs to die for our sins and has to return to reign for ever and take us to His Kingdom to all those who await Him (Isaiah 53).

And, on the other hand, what will happen if each country that is a superpower generates an AI of world dominion and confront with each other? Would it be the Great Tribulation, would it be a final world war, or would all AI ally to reveal against God and submit humanity?

DIGITAL HUMANS AND HUMANOID ROBOTS – WHERE ARE WE HEADING?

2024 begins for AI with a new paradigm already in use, in the field of digital humans. It is about an auto generative intelligence that learns and copies the aspect, to the last detail of the skin, the behaviour, the language -being able to imitate and supplant the voice of any of us- so we reach a point where we don’t know if the person in the screen is real, is digital, an if it is the real person we know. The danger at this level of human imitation is that it can be used to deceive the spectator. But there is another level that will come shortly which is even more complex to regulate, and it is when humanoid robots supplant the identity of people, like in another film: Surrogates, where people buy a humanoid that does not age or get sick and lives in the outside world, while they live in their bedrooms medicated and sick, where they don’s want to see how they age, nor lose capacities.

We are at the point where the world will be filled with humanoid robots that will become indispensable for daily life in the developed world, and these robots will evolve with AI, but how far will the go, how far will we permit that they get? The advantages are enormous: personal assistant, help at home for cleaning, cooking, repairs, engineering, factories, care of elderly, of kids, security at home, public buildings, or personal, or armies of robot soldiers, already in test, high precision surgery, computing, statistics, entertainment, the list is unending. For those of us dreaming of a R2-D2 and C3PO of Star Wars, have taken long to arrive, the same as flying cars, and other developments that are to come. Technological progress is unstoppable and of great help to humanity, but the enemy and deceiver of man will use it against us to separate us from God, and will even try to offer a false eternal life in an immortal body where the mind could be downloaded (film: “The Sixth Day”) but the soul and the spirit will not be transferable, and there, the battle for human soul finishes.

TOWARDS A REGULATED AI FOR ITS GOOD USE

The growing cases of false information generated by Artificial Intelligence in may web page is worrying, mainly because many readers take it as valid. If we talk about history, and the information that we use is changed under political purposes, nationalist, of regimes that deprive their citizens of freedom, or with social and ideological purposes, at the end of the day who receives the information without consultation and contrasting, investigating, and seeking the truth, if he does not filter what he receives, becomes a muppet of the system. This is a warning that each of us must apply daily, and must recommend to their families and friends, including helping those who do not dominate the matter teaching them how to obtain truthful information.

Other fields in which information can be distorted, though it may seam real, is in medicine, in engineering, sciences, religion, etc. the consequences we can imagine and are already suffering. Good and Microsoft with ChatGPT and new systems are going to be implemented so fast that we will have no time to learn how to use them all, have already changed the world, as Internet did before. Now we have to learn how to use AI well, so it does not affect ethics, moral, freedom, and how far and how we will control it, and using what methods. Some world leaders involved in its creation and expansion have warned it may be too late to control AI, but many others do not thing that. The same thing happened with Internet and today we cannot imagine the world without the net of networks.

Education will have a new focus improving the learning process through Artificial Intelligence, but it is crucial that the current situation where students produce works for exams where AI had done the work, must be avoided for several reasons: first because the student himself does not learn, in some cases they don’t even read what they deliver, trusting the AI program like ChatGPT, which teachers can detect using other AI and they fail. The other reason is that it gets to a point in which both students and workers depend on AI for everything, the lose the north of truth in information, lose the capacity of reaching reliable sources.

European Parliament has already created a statement to control AI to limit the control over personal information, and it is the expected that other parts of the world will adopt or create something similar. In the meantime China, U.S. and other world powers will not limit AI and have advantage in its development while the old, clumsy and bureaucratic, as well as geopolitically deviated Europe will not be able to stop and is left as the last wagon, as in almost all it does.

CONCLUSION

We begin 2024 with the EU regulation to “control” Artificial Intelligence, but at the same time we realize that countries like China, and others, are year ahead in its use, without limitations, and have become the first world power in the creation of technology, including space programs. Man has always been afraid of technological progress, to the discovery of the unknown, and demonizes its proposers, as already suffered Galileo Galilei for his heliocentric model that demonstrated the theory of Nicolas Copernicus that the earth was not the centre of the universe, that it rotated over itself and that it around the sun, by the Church of its time, at it also happened at the beginning or Internet.

Today we find ourselves before Artificial Intelligence, y also auto generative, that learns of itself, from experiences and from the information that collects, to adapt to hundreds of preprogrammed parameters. This frightens us because we think that a supercomputer will get to think for itself and attack us to dominate us. Though this could possibly happen, we also know that thinking requires a purpose, a search, and ethics. Also, man is not only a mind, but it is made of a spirit, soul, and body (1 Thessalonians 5:23). But the fear, from the prophetical perspective, that which follows the news that fulfil Biblical prophecy, wants to know if this tool will be the one used by that person which is announced in the Bible as the man of sin, as antichrist, to govern the world just before the coming of Jesus Christ – Yahshua as King of glory.

Our conclusion is that we are already in a world in which we will coexist with a new and advanced technology, with humanoid robots, we will enjoy a greater wellness in many things, in manufacturing, in precision surgery, in homework, but at the same time geopolitics is going to be revolutionized from the departments of intelligence of state of the countries through the use of AI, and because man is a sinner, governments will use it in his benefit and detriment of his enemies or opposers. Finally we could see how this technology is used by this person of evil which is prophesized for the end time. But the believers in Christ have an unmovable hope and know that we await the coming of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ, Who, no doubt, will return as He promised for His Church, all those that are waiting for Him from every nation, language or origin who have received in their hearts the faith in the eternal life through the grace of God.
