PROPHECY OF THE PASSION OF CHRIST – Prophetical and Eschatological concept. Whas the passion of Christ, the Messiah, the Savour of the world, prophesised? The Text of the Old Testament which spoke to Israel about it are evident, both to the Jews as to the Gentiles. Psalm 22 describes the passion of Christ, which was a vision received by king David in his facet of prophet. Also prophet Isais in his chapter 53 which such detail that nobody with a minimum of faith and spiritual sensitivity can doubt it tells the crucifixion of Yahshua, Jesus of Nazareth, the Son of God. THE PROPHETIC CODE OF THE BIBLE – Prophetical and Apocalyptic Eschatological concept. Does the Bible have a prophetical code that contains the history of humanity from beginning to end? Much has been written, and many have searched in the Bible for a source to know the future, especially the date, day and hour of the end of the world, which is not possible, because God has hidden this to us. Jesus already warned us that the day and the hour we will never know, but we would know the times and their characteristics, Matthew 24:36. The Bible contains all the prophecies that the people of God must know, which is useful for us to know that it is the prophetical Word of God, on the one side, and that we may know the road map of humanity, but the aim is not to use to know the future, but to know how to live a full life by the hand of our God and with our neighbour. The Prophetical Code of the Bible is spiritual, it can be seen with the eyes of faith, there is no need for any computer program. But some mathematicians have created programs that contain the Hebrew Pentateuch in which they have found great part of what has happened, dates, and historical events in the Biblical Text. This provides another facet of the Bible which could demonstrate another level of the excellence of the intelligent design of the infinite mind of God. But God has given us a Word easy for everyone, which teaches us that all who believe in the Son of God and follows Him has eternal life. GOG AND MAGOG Prophetical and Apocalyptic Eschatological concept. The battle of Gog and Magog that we read in Ezekiel 38 & 39 is a prophecy that could have several fulfilments, as it happens with many prophecies in The Bible. At historical level some interpretations see its fulfilment in the XI century in the First Crusade, against 10 Muslim kingdoms in the year 1071, just 1000 years after the year 70 A.D. with the destruction of Jerusalem by Titus, at the end of the First Commandment “Old Testament” the war of the Jews against Rome. Those 1000 years are for some preterists the millennium of Revelation 20, already fulfilled. The Text is comparable to the battle of Armageddon in Revelation 16:16 Gog therefore, represents all that will be deceived by the devil to use them and deliver them to the last battle where they will dye, as enemies of God. The part of the prophecy of the attack of God and Magog of Revelation 20:8 is not yet fulfilled, which refers symbolically to the nations enemies of God, the antichrist nations, at the end of history: “8and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth. Gog and Magog, to gather the together to battle whose number is as the sad of the sea.” These nations will fight against Jerusalem, against God, against Jesus Christ, and there when the Messiah Yahshua, Jesus Christ will defeat them all, freeing the “camp of the saints” and the “beloved city”, all those who believe in Him as Saviour. ARMAGEDDON – Prophetical and Apocalyptic Eschatological concept. Armageddon originates from the Hebrew form: har-Megiddo “Mount of Megiddo”. It is also identified as “mountain of slaughter” (Illustrated Bible Dictionary, CLIE.74). In the same way, Megiddo is known as Valley of Jezreel – where already more than 200 battles have been fought, among which kings of Israel died, Judges 6:33 – it is identified with the valley between the two hills of Megiddo, and both names are related with the great valley of Esdraelon. But this concept has been used in films which have nothing to do with the concept in The Bible. Finally, and where the greatest controversy surges, is with its identification with a battle that will occur at the end of human history between the nations against Jerusalem, against Jesus Christ – Yahshua or Yeshua, who will destroy His enemies with the brightness of His coming (Revelation 16:16). 70 WEEKS OF DANIEL – Prophetical and Apocalyptic Eschatological concept. The 70th Week of Daniel 9, is one of the prophetical subjects which are also part of the apocalyptic and eschatological literature. On the one hand we can create a sequence of exact dates from the year in which the 70 weeks begin and arrive to the year in which the Messiah Jesus Christ enters Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, being that His expiatory death puts an end to the sacrifice and the offering, in week 69 and ½. The other half of the week, or 1260 days, or 3.5 years, or time, times, and half time, is what remains the stumbling block for Bible scholars. APOCALYPSE – Prophetical and Apocalyptic Eschatological concept. The Greek concept “apokálypsis” means “to take off the veil, reveal, to show something hidden, therefore many Bibles call it the book of Revelation” and that is how the book itself begins: “The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him, to show his servants things which must shortly take place; and He sent and signified by His angel to His servant John”. Revelation 1:1. The book of Revelation, which is many times defined as prophetical, but the truth is that it is a book belonging to a specific gender called by the erudite: Apocalyptical, which was initiated by other books, like the Psalm 83, parts of Isaia, of Ezekiel 37-39, Daniel, Joel, of Amos, Matthew 24, Marc 13, Luke 21. The Apocalyptic gender is also of a high symbolic meaning, therefore many who read it in a literal way don’t find its meaning, or don’t relate it with the rest of Bible Scripture of the same kind. The theological study of the entire book is needed in relation to the Bible itself to achieve its understanding. Therefore, Apocalypse does not mean end of the world, but the concept has become linked to it. THE RESURRECTION – Prophetical and Eschatological Concept. The Resurrection has two implications, the first to Jesus Christ – Yahshua, Whose resurrection was prophesized and of which He himself was telling His disciples (Hosea 6:2 – Psalm 16:10 – Luke 9:22). On the other hand, the resurrection of the dead, of all, good and evil, for the Day of Judgment, nobody will escape the judgment (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). The prophecy of the Valley of the Dry Bones of Ezekiel 37 is of great theological and prophetical impact. Relevance of Prophecy and of Eschatology

The prophetical and eschatological concepts of The Bible are fundamental for the Christian faith, offering a vision of the divine plan and of the destiny of humanity. These teachings not only provide hope, but also guide believers in a spiritual way, offering a deeper understanding of the promises of God and their fulfilment along history.

Know the concepts that the prophets have foretold along the centuries, and the words of the Lord Jesus Christ – Yahshua or Yeshua about the events of the end of time, in the Prophetical Dictionary, and learn the correct interpretation. Not all the prophecy is for the end of time, but it has been guiding the people of God about the character of man, of the church, and has become a code as a road map of history.

The Prophetical Dictionary presents important concepts of Bible prophecy as a fast consultation section of introduction for every subject. To go deeper in each subject, we have the section Biblical Prophecy. It is necessary to differentiate the concept “prophecy” from the concept “prophecy of the end time, of the end of the world”, which is known as eschatology. The Bible is the safest Prophetical Word, as the apostle Peter teaches:

“So we have the prophetic Word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of an private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.” 2 Peter 1:19-21.

What Peter is telling us in his second letter, is that, The Bible, is the prophetic Word of God, the light and the torch which lights up so that we may know what is of God, and what is not, not only about the eschatological future, but in every matter of faith and conduct. These two examples will help us understand better: The Law of God given to Moses in Sinai is prophetical Word of God, being Moses there the prophet of God. The prophecy about the first coming of the Messiah in Isaiah 43, already fulfilled by Jesus.

Special mention is deserved by the book of Revelation, which is many times defined as prophetical, but the truth is that it is a book belonging to a specific gender called by the erudite: Apocalyptical, which was initiated by other books, like the Psalm 83, parts of Isaia, of Ezekiel 37-39, Daniel, Joel, of Amos, Matthew 24, Marc 13, Luke 21.

It self, the Greek concept “apokálypsis” means “to take off the veil, reveal, to show something hidden, therefore many Bibles call it the book of Revelation” and that is how the book itself begins: “The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him, to show his servants things which must shortly take place; and He sent and signified by His angel to His servant John”. Revelation 1:1.

Externally to The Bible, some consider as prophetical some apocryphal books, but the one that stands out most is the book of Enoch, which many consider as inspired, and that should be part of the Biblical Canon, for its trails (it would be the 40th book of the Old Testament instead of having 39), but a careful study shows much fantasy which is not inspired and not found in the rest of the books of the Canon. Although the Jews do not count the books like the Gentiles, being that what is considered the 39 books of the Old Testament of the West, for the Jews are 24 sacred books, being that the difference is in the way the books are grouped, greater prophets, minor prophets, etc. But the books are the same.

To know the basic concepts is essential to be able to study the Bible prophecies in depth.
