REMEMBER THE POOR

...For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always... John 12:8.  Amazing words of Jesus Christ, that  make us ashamed of our incapacity of erradicating poverty. But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? 1 John 3:17.

REMEMBER THE POOR

John 12:8 …For the poor always ye have with you.  Society is not able to eradicate poverty, however there are some organizations that have been trying for years, and for sure with a bit of effort from all sides it may be eliminated. There are several reasons why a person may be in poverty. Some times we think that by giving money the problem is sorted. However reaching poverty is a situation that makes a person value what he once had. Will help to seek God, because the rich rarely have some faith. But if a person under these circumstances tries hard, will come out of it. If he receives Christ, it’s guaranteed. There is another poverty, the spiritual, this is more important than the material one, and that only Jesus Christ can fill. So, ...feed the hungry and give drink to the thirsty. Give to him that asketh thee.

Some times we don’t see the needs that we have around us. With the tenth of our incomes, we must also dedicate a part to the poor, because He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again. Pray to the Lord for this and read it in Malaqui 3:7 to 12. Alfolí is the store of the provision to feed the needs. Amen? The rest of your tenth you should dedicate to the needs of saints, to preaching the Gospel and to donate Bibles, etc.

Our Lord told us to separate the tenth of our incomes and that we dedicate it to Him, and to the ones in need, materially and spiritually. Read Malaqui 3:6 to 18 and 4. May the reader be aware of the blessings when dedicating this money to God, although we should not be looking to the reward , but the Lord is delighted in rewarding because He is just; and the more He provides us the more we will give. Or isn’t He who enables us to have a job, our company goes well, we have health or any blessing? Therefore let us have the poor in our hearts, and let’s also pray for them; for their souls.
